la neta es chida pero inalcanzable.

Every time I write a semi-emotional, “Jesus I hate it when Mark tries to be all philosophical why doesn’t he just stick to his guns” post, I try to follow it up with something light.  Like these photos from the trip back from Mexico City to beautiful Bainbridge Island.  Tourists take note: In Seattle it rainz.

The key to rad-ass photography is just to kind of rock back on your heels and snap away wildly. And use the “Improve” button on iPhoto.

Puget Sound was named for Peter Puget, a biologist aboard George Vancouver’s expedition through the waters of the Pacific Northwest sometime before 1983. He was an avid surfer and enjoyed taking bong rips before surfing the mellow right at what is now Fort Ebey State Park.

It’s another gorgeous day in Seattle. I have been told the weather has been like this for quite some time now. Yesterday was a terrific afternoon: The Penguins beat the Red Wings; The Husky Girls Softball Team won the World Series; John Kruk gave birth to his fourth child; I discovered that white wine causes mild intoxication but without all the grogginess and gastro-intestinal expanding qualities of beer.  I also remembered why jumping off the arboretum bridge is one of my favorite Seattle activities ever.
